Double Your Impact: How Workplace Matching Makes Your Donation Go Further

September 4, 2025

Did you know that your gift to Building Markets can be doubled—or even tripled—when your employer matches it? Many companies use workplace giving platforms like Benevity, CyberGrants, Fidelity Giving Marketplace, Submittable, PayPal Giving Fund, and more, making it easy for employees to support causes they care about.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Check Your Employer’s Giving Program
Whether your company uses Benevity, CyberGrants, Deed, or any of the other platforms, the process is usually the same: log in to your employer’s workplace giving portal.

  2. Search for “Building Markets”
Once inside, simply search for Building Markets and select us as your beneficiary. A few clicks might turn your $50 donation into $100 in impact—and that’s before we even get to the multiplier effect our work delivers.

  3. Watch Your Impact Compound
At Building Markets, every $1 invested generates $8 in revenue for local entrepreneurs. Combined with employer matching, your generosity travels even further into communities in need.

Not Sure If Your Company Matches Gifts?

If you’re uncertain whether your employer offers a matching program, here are two quick steps:

  • Check with HR or your CSR team. They’ll guide you to the right portal.

  • Or email us at giving@buildingmarkets.org and we will help.
