What is the Peace Dividend Marketplace?
The Peace Dividend Marketplace is an innovative project that helps drive international development assistance into conflict and disaster affected economies.
Who is it for?
The PDM is for both buyers and suppliers in our countries of operation. Resources include the business portal, matchmaking, training, tender distribution and marketing.
Why use it?
Because taking the time to "Buy Local" helps create jobs, restore livelihoods, and rebuild collapsed economies - all of which contribute to long-term peace and stability.
Business Portals
The Peace Dividend Marketplace Afghanistan was launched in 2006. In addition to other resources, its Business Portal contains over 7,500 profiles of local companies searchable by sector and location.
The Peace Dividend Marketplace Haiti was launched in 2009. In addition to other resources, its Business Portal contains over 2,000 profiles of local companies searchable by sector and location.
The Peace Dividend Marketplace Liberia was launched in July 2011. Its Business Portal, which will contain a comprehensive directory of Liberian businesses, is currently under construction.
The Peace Dividend Marketplace Timor-Leste was launched in 2007. In addition to other resources, its Business Portal contains over 2,500 profiles of local companies searchable by sector and location.
